1. gather ingredients 5 mins
2. gather utensils 2 mins 
3. pre-heat the oven 10 mins 
4.  prepare baking tray 2 mins 
5. mix the wet ingredients 7 mins
6. add the flour and mix 4 mins
7. combine vanilla extract into cake 3 mins
8. whisk mixture until light and fluffy 6 mins
9. spoon mixture into cake cases 3 mins
10. bake cake cases 15 mins
11. gather ingredients for butter cream 4 mins
12. take cakes out of oven 2 mins
13. let them cool  5 mins
14. ice the cakes 6 mins
